Drivers side power window will not go up?

These vehicles are notorious for window motor/regulator assemblies going out.

Try turning the key on with the door open,holding the switch down if the window is up or vice versa and while holding the switch slam the door HARD without releasing the switch.

If it starts moving the assembly will need to be replaced. if not you will need to test power and ground at the motor. with the door panel removed.
