Buick LeSabre will not start without jiggling gear shift lever?

This problem is noticed by many others too.

The car will not start,but if you jiggle/wiggle gear shift lever few times,then it will start.

problem sounds like a miss aligned or faulty park/neutral switch. When this happens the computer will not let the engine start until the reading is correct.

The park neutral switch needs to be inspected and replaced,if faulty/worn out.

On Buick LeSabre it is located on the top side of the transmission,under the hood,drivers side.
