Car automatically switches to 4wd low?

This problem is faced my many other car users too.
The car will switch to 4wd low,without touching the 4 wd button.Also the click noise is heard when car is placed in neutral or 2 wd button is pressed.

This problems are basically caused by faulty transfer case motor.

The motor/encoder at the transfer case.It is located where the front drive axle hooks up to the transfer case.

You will see the wiring connector there.

Inspect the transfer case motor/encoder will help.
