Power windows not working after car wash?

This problem is faced by many car uses,that power window and other electrical components like switches or light bulbs or dash lights stops working.

In some cases this problem starts after gets wet in rain for long hours.

The power windows and interior lighting are controlled by the GEM module.

The most common cause of the problem you are having is caused by a waterleak in the windshield and leaking on the back side of the interior fuse panel, causing a poor connection to the GEM (Generic Electronic Module) which controls the systems that are affected, like the power windows and interior lighting to be inoperable.Getting the fuses and GEM module inspected will help.
