Replacing Heater Water Control Valve on Honda Vehicles?

Heater Water Control Valve replacing diagram.

Removal & Installation

1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. From under the hood, open the cable clamp, then disconnect the heater valve cable from the heater valve arm.
3. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the heater water control valve.
   
   
   

   

   Fig. Open the cable clamp (A), then disconnect the heater valve cable (B) from the heater valve arm (C)

To install:

1. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
2. Refill the cooling system to the correct level.
