Blend Door Actuator Replacing for Ford Crown Victoria?

Removal & Installation Details for Blend Door Actuator.

The procedure is similar for Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Town Car.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Disconnect battery negative cable from battery and properly isolate to prevent accidental reconnection.
3. Remove the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blend door motor/actuator.
5. Remove the four screws holding the blend door actuator to the plenum.
6. Remove the temperature blend door actuator.

To install:

Installation is reverse of removal.
