In this case the customer complained about his jaguar engine running non stop.
The ignition is turned to off,but its still running.
On that basis the troubleshooting is as follows :-----
This problem is very common on jaguar engines,
When new your Jag came with a battery transit relay mounted on the battery to prevent it from going dead during transport and storage. There was a small white connector that plugged into it. When the car was prepared the relay was removed and the connector was tucked away. I have seen people replace the battery and crush that connector causing a short. I have also seen corrosion on the connector from water getting into the trunk from a faulty trunk seal or tail lamp seals. If may be another issue but you should start there.
This details will help.
Thanks.
