The replacing procedure is as follows:----
Bleeding Procedure for power steering pump:----
Check the fluid level and top off as needed.
Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
With the engine OFF, turn the wheel from lock to lock slowly several times.
Lower the vehicle and start the engine and allow to idle for a few minutes.
With the engine warm and at idle, turn the steering wheel to the left or right lock position and hold it there for 2 to 3 seconds , then turn the wheel to the opposite side lock and hold for 2 to 3 seconds.
Repeat these last two steps several times.
Turn the vehicle off and check the fluid level.
if there is a lot of foam in the reservoir, check the system for leaks and repair, then bleed the system again.

The replacing procedure is as follows:----
- Remove the right side front wheel.
- Drain power steering fluid
- Remove the right hand engine under cover.
- Remove the fan and alternator belt.
- Remove the clip and disconnect the oil reservoir to pump hose No.1.
- Using SST 09023-38401, disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly .
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the pressure feed tube clamp.
- Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts, nuts and pump assembly .
Using SST 09023-38401, disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly
Location of the power steering pump assembly
To install:
- Install the pump assembly with the 2 bolts and nuts. Tighten to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm).
- Connect the oil pressure switch connector.
NOTEBe careful that the oil does not adhere to the connector. - Using SST 09023-38401, connect the pressure feed tube assembly . Tighten to 30 ft. lbs. (41 Nm) using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 13.58 in. (345 mm).
- Connect the pressure feed tube clamp with the bolt. Tighten to 69 in. lbs. (8 Nm).
- Connect the oil reservoir to pump hose No.1 with the clip.
- Install the drive belt.
- Install the wheel.
- Fill and bleed the power steering system.
- Install the engine under cover.
